We Children are Very Special…Student Reflection on Children’s Day

On the 13th of November 2013, we celebrated children’s day. We felt that something special was going on throughout the day. All of our teachers treated us with yummy treats to make us feel special. Then our teachers told us to form a line for a ’guest lecture.’ We knew that something fishy was going on and there was something mysterious. Once we entered the MPH we had found a lot of teachers and chairs. As we took our seats, the fun began. We also found out that the teachers had secretly planned something for us.

These were the following performances:

First, there was a fashion show by the PE teachers.
Second, Kiran Sir danced for all of us. With his dance the audience brightened up.
Third, was the performing arts teachers’ turn to dance. Their dance was very fun and energetic to watch.
Fourth, there was a performance by the language teachers. The skit which they had performed was very exciting to watch.
Fifth, it was the turn for the 3rd and 4th grade teachers to sing. The songs which they sang were melodious.
Sixth, there was a performance by the grade 6 teachers who had planned a sing along.
Seventh, there was a performance by the 5th grade teachers; they performed a very fun dance.
Eighth, the supportive instruction department & the ICT teachers had put together a very nice role play.
They had also shown us 2 videos to make us feel special.

This was the best children’s day celebration!
