In our school we have been learning new values
every month. This helps us in becoming a better person. Learning values is not
so easy but the way you learn them and follow them make a difference in the
society and you. To learn different values, we are following ‘school cinema’.
School Cinema is nothing but when they show us kid appropriate videos. With
this, we kids do learn something but at the same time we have a lot of fun watching
the videos.
After we watch all of these videos, we have a
follow-up activity. When we came into 5th Grade we were provided
with a course book which has all the follow-up activities related to the
videos. We also have fun solving the puzzles. Since we had sessions in the last
2 periods, it is a nice way to end the day.
So far we have learnt about being prompt which
essentially means being on time. We have also learnt how to be tolerant with
our friends. The most recent value which we have learnt is to be empathetic.
The ‘School Cinema’ was very fun learning the
values as they have a huge impact on us. We have been praying for more
sessions. Being in the multi-purpose hall at that time is very exciting for
each one of us.
