Grade 1 Field Trip to the Zoo

Field trip is always exciting for students especially for the 1^st graders. A trip to the zoo was what they were looking forward to. However, before leaving for the exciting trip the teachers had their essential agreements set. A strong question and answer session was held. 

Questions that were asked to students were:

·        Why can’t you feed the animals at the zoo?

·        What happens if you toss your trash on the ground instead of the trash cans?

These discussions helped students understand that the Attitude ‘Respect’ was not limited just to the humans but also had to be extended to the animals too.
