On 13th November, students of Grade VIII were taken on a
field trip to Textile factory in Nandigama Village, Kothur mandal which was 1-hr
drive from school.
Upon
reaching the factory, students visited all the departments which include washing,
drying, stretching, dyeing, printing and designing.
They made
keen observation on how the processes are carried sequentially by the workers. Also,
questions were asked to the departmental managers to understand the turnover,
working time and risks involved during working.
