Student Reflection on Guest Lecture: Flavours of Government

There was a very energetic, informative and fun guest lecture by Ms. Pratibha Somu. This was in connection with our unit of inquiry – Government. This was held in our class 5G. Since our topic was government, she threw more light on the topic. She also asked us questions to make sure the class was lively. Things which have interested me were the fundamental rights and duties of a person, forms of governments and different functions of a government. This was all presented in a power-point presentation.

Through this we have learnt how important a government is and how our roles as citizens have to be followed. The class was also very engaged as she was explaining all the points in detail. It felt like everything has been covered and nothing was left behind. Overall, this was the most fun and interesting guest lecture that I have been to and participated.
