Students of Grade 8 used nets containing 2D drawings to explore 3D shapes. They were able to visualize 3D objects from 2D drawings by folding it to construct the 3D objects. Various nets were utilized to create common 3D shapes such as cube, cuboids, cylinder, cone, octahedron, and pyramids. It was a fun exploration!
