International Tiger Day

International tiger day made a huge impact on the young minds of Oakridge. Grade IV took a huge responsibility of spreading awareness of saving the Tigers. Since past 15 days they have done their bit to communicate this message to the locality. It started within the school but reached to many corners of the society. Students came out with many ways to conserve our National animal. They made posters, slogans, documentary, six word stories, banners, badges, poems, etc. to spread the message across.
Moreover, a special assembly was conducted by grade IV students where a special awareness session ‘to save the tigers’ was conducted in the form of a “Burrakatha” followed by a quiz and a documentary. It was an indeed informative and enlightening assembly.
