Learning Engagements and Parental Involvement

It’s always believed in PYP that involvement of parents in the learning engagements is the best practice. As a part of this an enthusiastic parent Mr. Saral, (Grade IV student Manvi’s dad) came forward to spend his valuable time sharing his expertise and knowledge with our students. He gave a guest lecture for grade 4B on import, export and rights and responsibilities of producers and consumers.Students asked interesting questions related to the topic and got their doubts clarified. It was an enriching session for the students. Some of the student questions were:
When two countries are trading which country’s currency do they exchange?
Why Indian cars have high demand in the world?
Are there any constraints for export and import between the countries?
These questions helped the inquiry to be better and going further in the topic.
