Grade V students did an activity in their
ongoing unit “Decision making.” Students
were given 3 controversial statements out of which they have chosen 1
statement. Learners sat according to clock buddies started discussing on the
chosen statement, one was for & the other was against the statement. They listed
all their thoughts and feelings in an organizer called “Options diamond” to
conclude .After the decisions some students compromised on the statement and
some students settled for the best of both. The activity gave a great scope to
learn and really made their thinking visible.
