“Rituals and
traditions provide a window into the beliefs and values of cultures.” To throw more light on the topic Ms. Anita Reddy gave a
guest lecture to the students of Grade-VI(B &C). Students learnt about the various components
of culture by observing the pictures and other artifacts brought by the
speaker. A clear picture of change and connection could be drawn by the
students by relating the things of the past to the present ones. Certain games
and sports are still played but with some modifications. Likewise, change is found in food habits,
dressing style, arts, literature, beliefs, practices, etc.It was quite an
exciting and informative session.
