On the 12th
of September, the students of X G & H, IGCSE conducted the morning assembly. It started off with
Ruhitha and Apoorva compering. Nishta gave a wonderful speech on World Literacy
Day. The girls sang an inspirational song “I dare you to move”. The prayer was
said by Karthik of X G and the thought for the day was given by Mohnish of X H.
The students of 10th,
IGCSE known as the “OAKLIT Team” took up the initiative to start a group which
publishes articles written by students to showcase their talents. It allows
students to develop their writing skills while also giving other students an
opportunity to read these articles and get motivated to write such articles. In
addition to this, the IGCSE student’s initiative to educate the Oakridge
drivers to send and receive e-mails was showcased to celebrate the WORLD
LITERACY DAY.
During the
assembly, Biju Sir gave an introduction to OAKCHAMP. Everyone was filled with
enthusiasm to know more about OAKCHAMP.
Overall, the
assembly was a grand success and was well performed by the 10th
grade IGCSE.
