Junior Library always tries to make
literature come alive. In this effort, every month Junior Library celebrates
author’s birthday. The library was filled with birthday celebrations in the
month of August. Right from Pre-primary to Grade 6 actively learnt about two
authors in the month of August.
We celebrated the famous, rich author
J. K. Rowling’s Birthday from 01st of August as we had a holiday on
her Birthday 31st of July.
Children were asked to wish J. K. Rowling by using their Literary Skills
and creativity. There was one more soft
board ready for the children “ I would like to ask, if J. K. Rowling comes to school….”
Students of grade 4, 5 and 6 wrote
poem, acrostic, along with their creativity to wish J. K. Rowling. It was happy
to see the colorful board created by our little authors, illustrators for their
favorite author’s birthday.
