identities were taught and its applications were tested through simplification of
numbers. The students learnt the techniques of simplifying large numbers using
these identities. They discussed various mathematical operations involved in
the number patters in a Mathematical Reasoning questions. When the
brainstorming sessions happened over the processing of solutions the children’s
creativity was at its peak.
