The
much awaited International Dot Day was celebrated at Oakridge with a bang and
it brought out the embedded creativity of each and every child around. As the
writer Peter H. Reynolds rightly asserts “Make your mark…and see where it takes
you,” it actually saw the wonders of the Dot. Children brought in dot snacks,
wore dots in their own innovative way. The day ignited the power of creativity
in every individual and brought out ideas on the paper beautifully.
The
artworks, artifacts and the writings of each child was complimented and
appreciated by the teachers and they went spellbound by the thoughts and
imaginations of our curious inquirers.
A
sincere “thank you” to all the parents who offered their support and made it a
grand success for Oakridge.
