OZONE DAY QUIZ

September 16 is celebrated as World Ozone Day. To mark this occasion, Ozone day Quiz for the Class 8 CIE segment was conducted. Three sections of CIE Grade 8: 8G, 8H and 8J participated in it.

There were 3 rounds –

MCQ round: It had 10 MCQs on the topic Ozone and its effects.

Visual round: It had 6 questions and the teams were asked to identify the prominent personalities or environmental phenomenon in the picture.

Dumb charades round: Two members of each team had to pick a chit and enact the environmental phenomenon given in the chit. The other two members had to identify the phenomenon.

The audience also had a good time as there were audience questions too. Finally, after a tough fight, Team 8J emerged as the winner, 8H came second and 8G was third.
It was an enriching experience for the students as they learnt so much about Ozone & other important Environmental issues and had fun too.
