The prefect council
conducted the morning assembly on September 20, as the school celebrated its
“Literary Week”.
The assembly
started with a prayer requesting the almighty to shower happiness all around
and remove the darkness of ignorance in this world. This was followed by a
thought, which made the students put on their thinking caps and ponder on an
important message.
The Children
presented a wonderful song to which the entire assembly joined the chorus.
Thereafter, the children dressed up as their favorite author, spoke about the
author and his/her achievements. The theme of the assembly was on the importance
of inculcating regular reading habit, which is on the verge of becoming extinct.
The assembly fostered students an opportunity to open up and share their
thoughts with their peers. Further, it instilled in them a sense of pride and
confidence to be able to speak in front of a large gathering. All in all, it
was a well conducted assembly.
