Sharing this glimpse & honouring the
gifts of our Indian roots, the students of Grade II & Oakridge Newton
campus presented a spectacular show of Music Dance and Drama.
Students dressed in tradional attires
welcomed the guest with a Tika and showered flowers as the guest walked in.
The shows presented were beautiful dances
like the Dandiya, Rajasthani folk, A traditional dance of Andhra and Bhangra.
Guest could ‘nt stop their feet tapping to the fantastic numbers of Dances They
were glued to the little artist narrating the big dialogues in the plays like
Swami and Friends , Parmananda shishyulu and the Monkeys feast. Our little
Okaridgers sang the beautiful songs in Kashmiri, Bengali, Odiya and Telugu.As
the curtains dropped the quiz kids kept the audience on toes quizzing them with
questions related to India. The beautifully attired mom’s danced to the music
of Dandiya and rocked the show.
The show was one of a kind “Unique and
distinctive .Parents were spell bound admiring their little ones talents in
performing arts and couldn’t stop complimenting the team of teachers for a
flawless program.
