COUNSELING AND SUPPORTIVE INSTRUCTION UNIT REPORT ON “PALETTE OF STUDY SKILLS” COMPETITION



On the occasion of the Learning Difficulty Week from October 22nd to 26th 2013, the Supportive Instruction Unit of the Senior block conducted a competition called Palette of Study Skills” for the students of Grades-VII, VIII and IX (both CBSE and IGCSE).

The students were asked to exhibit their cognitive skills of learning and memory techniques in Creative or in Literary expression in subjects like Math, English and Science. An amazing strength of 52 students participated enthusiastically and exhibited their creativity in learning, using different techniques. The Competition was held on 23rd for Grade VII students, 24th for Grade VIII students and 25th for Grade IX students. 


From each Grade, one winner was selected for Creative expression and one for the Literary expression. There are 6 first prize winners and 5 consolation prize winners. The participation and winner points will be added to the individual OAKCHAMP scores of the students.
