Workshop on Transdisciplinary Teaching

On 10 October, 2013, a Workshop on Transdisciplinary teaching and learning was organized by Ujwala Sahodaya. Ms. Shubhangi Sambare (Coordinator- PYP segment) was selected to conduct this workshop on behalf of Oakridge International School, Newton campus. It was a unique initiative as the good practices of the IB PYP program were shared with the teachers from different schools across Hyderabad following the CBSE program. This cross curricular workshop provided insights into the richness of both curricula. We could see the commonalities emerging and toward the end, we all agreed that there should be more such sharing sessions where teachers from both the curricula bring their good practices on a common platform. It was indeed an enriching experience!
