Grade 9, IGCSE was
entrusted with the task of making a presentation regarding the state of the
Ozone layer for the assembly. We had the thought for the day and prayers
appealing to the topic of our presentation. We sang Micheal Jackson’s “Heal the
World”. It was an enlightening assembly, we learned about the defects in the
Ozone layer and the reasons for these defects. We were given ideas to reduce
the amount of pollutants emitted so the Ozone won’t be further damaged.
The presentation
inspired me to take an initiative to help the Ozone which shields me from the
ever so deadly radiation from the sun. I hope others were inspired like me to
make a change.
