On Thursday, October 24, 2013, the ICT
Quiz competition was conducted between 9th and 10th Grades
of IGCSE. The students took part actively in it and enjoyed it a lot with tons
of enthusiasm.
Five teams participated in this
competition with five members each from 9th and 10th
(IGCSE). There were four rounds that included multiple choice questions,
visuals, identify slogans, and buzzer round. I got to learn about famous people
who contributed to the development of technology, such as Steve Jobs and
Charles Babbage. We were enlightened by wisdom. The overwhelming participation
and enthusiasm of students was remarkable. At the end, there was a tie between
Team B and Team D; with Team D winning the overall competition. These types of
quizzes encourage students to showcase their knowledge.

We
recently had an ICT quiz along with the tenth graders. We were challenged with
four mind-boggling rounds with questions ranging from all across the world of
technology. It surely made all of us scratch our heads. There were five teams
but the team"D"(tenth graders) won the quiz in a tie-braking round
with team "B"(ninth graders). All the participants enjoyed it deeply
and we would love to have more competitions as such. It taught all of us a lot
more than what we already knew.
