Reflect! Dilate! Recently the 10th graders of the CIE segment
embarked into the world of transformations. As a project proposed by the very
coordinator of IGCSE, Mrs. Baljeet, the students were given a plethora of
choices to make a project based on the transformations that surround us everyday. We were allowed to choose from many topics
including: “The History of Transformations”, “Transformations Defined
Mathematically”, “Tessellations”, etc.
The students each presented their
various projects over a course of one week. Not only were the students
enlightened by the experience but also by the knowledge obtained. And as we
look towards our fast-approaching board examinations we’ll keep the wisdom we
gained in mind, in order to pass with flying colours. Being students who
experienced these perfect presentations, we now realize the scope of
transformations in relation to our daily lives.
