Guest Lecture for Grade 1on Animals

I am waiting for you, when are you coming for me?

As a part of our current Unit of inquiry the grade 1 students experienced and learnt something new and exciting today.                                                              

We had Ms.Pravallika as a guest from the Blue cross organization of Hyderabad where they help and take care of animals in need.

Students got to know interesting facts like:

·        Out of the 15000 Tigers in India only 1000 are remaining.

·        “Say NO for having fish and birds as your pets”.

·        Snakes can only see and not hear the music.

Students asked interesting questions like “Can the snake charmer really make the snake dance? Can they hear the music?

The session was not only interesting but also informative. The students came back to the class and continued the discussion on how they could make a difference.
