On 22nd of
October we the students of 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th Grades
gathered together in the multi-purpose hall with anxiety locked in our faces.
We were gathered to be the audience of a live concert by Live Jam. It was kind
of astonishing for us that there would be a live concert in our school. They
came with a motto of transforming urban lives. They truly inspired us with
their heart-touching plays and stories. The plays and stories emphasized on
moral values and the importance of life. Music is something which cannot be
forgotten especially when the music is so meaningful and catchy which was
satisfied by the band. The music was feet-tapping and inspirational. The
members of Live Jam first caught our attention by playing small games with us
and making us tune along with them. We enjoyed the background scoring by the
band especially the drums and guitar. Therefore the concert was a mix of fun
and values. The intention of their visit was to inform and raise awareness on
how “the future of India’’ or ‘’teens’’ are vulnerable to these factors:
pleasure, pressure but we need to have a purpose. We enjoyed the event so much
that even few 12th graders went near the stage and shook a leg.
To sum it up I would like to quote it with what the members of Live Jam said by
themselves, ‘’Life is a once in a time opportunity so live it loud and to the
fullest without succumbing to the passing pleasures.
