Student Reflection on Anger

Anger is a dangerous thing. Have you ever noticed that anger is one letter away from danger? That is true. It is important to control your anger or else it will control you. In the PYP Exhibition my issue is Personality: Self-management [sub issue]. I am studying about anger and I have come to know a lot about it.

People feel angry when they sense that they or someone they care about has been offended. If you feel angry you need to cool down or you may take it out on the wrong person. These are some tips on how to cool your anger:

·       Take a break and relax
·        Calm down and express your anger in a non-confrontational way
·        Think before you talk to the person or you may say something wrong
·        Identify possible solutions
·        Engage in another activity to cool down your anger

For different people, there are different methods of cooling down. The above mentioned few might not be the best way to control your anger. It is good to experiment and find out the technique that helps you to control your anger.

So next time when you get angry just realize how it affects others and yourself.
