On the 13th of December, the students working for
the PYP exhibition under the issue of child labor were given a guest lecture.
The guest lecture took place in the 5G classroom. The guest lecture was given
by Ms. Preeya Nair, a documentary director. We were shown a documentary set in
old Hyderabad (Charminar) on the life of Quamer, a twinkling and clever bangle
maker, at the age of 11.
The video shown to us was made by Ms. Preeya Nair
using her experience of over 15 years. The video was very touching — showing
the life of clever and energetic star Quamer and her dream to go to school and
become a strong and a nice human. It was a wonderful video and we thank Ms.
Preeya Nair to find some time to share such a wonderful video with us. It was a
beautiful day.
