On Friday 13
December, the students of Grade X H (CIE) went to Birla Soft to promote
Oakridge’s Vote for My Future campaign. The students had a speech on why
it is important to vote and how it can impact the future of India. Next, they
passed out the pledges for the employees to sign and vow that they will vote
for all the upcoming elections. Not only did they encourage them to vote, but
also inspired them to spread awareness about how important voting is by placing
the stickers on their vehicles.
Overall, this was a
great experience for them because they convinced people that their votes will
make a huge difference and have earned their assurance that the employees will
vote in the upcoming elections.
