Grade 1’s had organized a “same snack day”. We all were very
excited as it was not the regular routine which we follow. Children were told
to get either a sandwich or a fruit. Next days the kids came super excited to
class. During the snack break each one of them presented their snack in the circle
time. It was amazing to see that though it was sandwiches and fruits but it
differed in shapes, sizes and color. Through this it was clearly evident that
though we prepare the same food but the way we prepare and present it is
different. This was an amazing learning engagement which gave a clear insight
to our kids about similarities and differences among individuals. Children
understood that though we all are human beings, the way we think, dress, eat
and organize ourselves differ from one another which makes us special and
unique from others.
Here are few
reflections from our kids.

similarities and differences between us” - Saanvi
