This is the time when the curriculum focuses on enabling our young adults
to develop and apply the knowledge and skills that will allow them to become
successful learners, poised individuals and accountable citizens. It is
important for all of us to be oriented with the IGCSE curriculum intensely so
that the students, their parents as well as the teachers can work together as a
team for the benefit of our students.
With this in mind, to familiarize on what the parents can expect during
the academic year, the parents of Grade IX & X were cordially invited to
attend the IGCSE Orientation program. Here the parents and students were appraised
to the IGCSE Curriculum, Assessments, School Policies as well as the Academic
Calendar for Year 2013-14. The opportunity was made use of to brief the parents
and students on the CAS, CCEP, IRP and Co-curricular activities.
The IGCSE Orientation was followed by a PTM for the grade 9 and 10
between 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. The PTM also proved immensely fruitful with the
eager parents meeting the respective teachers and discussing the progress of
their wards.
