Today, we started an assignment on which
materials around us had different properties. This assignment helped us in so
many ways. After this assignment, everyone knew about different properties. I personally
learned a lot, due to this project. It also was pretty fun as we could do it colorfully, however we wanted. The challenge was, we had to do it in 20
minutes. Then finally, when we were done and clustered it, they looked really
good. I think that this is one of the projects that we had have fun doing it,
but also academically helped us in many ways. It was really amazing.
On 20th August 2013, 7F learnt about
the properties of metals around us. It was a new learning. We learnt new
vocabulary like brittle and rigid. We learnt by looking around our class and
observing materials like paper of our books and glass of our windows, wood of
our tables and of course various other metals. We learnt more than 10 materials
and around 7 properties. Finally for the implementation of what we learnt, on a
A4 size sheet, we made a table and wrote all properties and materials around
us. We then put them on our artistic soft board. It was an excellent activity
which was conducted by Veena madam. Everybody loved the activity and now are
knowledgeable about the topic - Tarun and Kunal
