English Department of
Oakridge International School (Grade VII & VIII) held the first round of CHAIRMAN’S
CUP’ in the month of July. The event was ‘Declamation- an effort to live the Past’ in the
month of July. The final round was on 29th July, 2013.
It is our endeavor to make our students understand the
principles, ideologies and thoughts of all Great Leaders (Political &
Spiritual). Declamation is recitation delivered as an exercise in rhetoric or
elocution.
The judges were: Mrs RevathiShridhar (new
parent) and Mr Sunil Rao (teacher). The speeches were for three minutes and the
session was thoroughly enjoyed. The parents of the finalists were also present
to show their support and appreciation.
