GRADE V’s DRAMA INTEGRATION

Integrating with their unit of inquiry on ‘Biodiversity’, students of Grade 5 students  improvised scenes based on one’s responsibility towards the environment. They came up with their own ideas on how to save the environment. They enacted the scenes very creatively using the dramatic elements and a variety of props. After improvising scenes students learned to formalize their scenes by writing it. 

Student Reflections: -

Prabath, Ronith (grade V) – Through this scene we wanted people to stop making noise and polluting our earth because it can spoil the planet.

Shreya R, Shreya (grade V) –The scene work done by us is very educational because we are told something as useful as educational.

Anusri,Avisha, Ryan (grade V) – Our scene work is commercial and educational because we wanted to convey the message that trees are very important for us but in a fun way.
