Poorvaja Won International Poetry Competition!!!!



Poorvaja Rajagopalan of IBDP XI had entered an international poetry competition - International Homeland/Motherland Charity Poetry Competition organized by the Fantastic Books Publishing International.
Each participant was asked to send poems that resonate with feelings of ‘Homeland’ or ‘Motherland’.
Poorvaja’s Poem titled 'India' was judged by the celebrity judge Maureen Duffy to be the winner of the grand prize of £50
The publishing house will be creating a winning anthology, in which the winners will have the chance to be published alongside professional contributors, alongside the Maureen's own poem.

  1. cool but you could have included rhyming words if i were the judge i wouldn't give this a prize it sounds "not so great " i mean its too plain but ideas ok. well if this poem is this bad then imagine how th eohter poems would have been horrible.

    1. Hard to take you seriously when you can't even spell correctly, punctuate and write a coherent sentence. "its too plain"? You meant "it's"? I'm not sure you're even capable of reading a poem, let alone comment on it.
